I’ve only played 3 LAPC prelim’s so far despite being here since the 4th. I was pretty sick when I first arrived, but am starting to feel better. I final tabled the 71 player $1.5k PLO LAPC prelim here for a whopping $7.7k. 

Finally picked up a mobile broadband card at Verizon. I’m not quite sure how I lived without it. FTP didn’t load on thee internet here at Commerce and I can’t miss out on the FTOPS $5k on Saturday.

I’ve been in Tunica the last couple of days for the last two events of their WSOP Circuit series. I’ve enjoyed the South it’s a nice change of pace. Of course, there’s absolutely nothing to do here besides play poker, but the people are friendly and if you aren’t a vegan the food’s good. I missed out on a couple good LAPC prelim’s, but as planned the events here were extremely soft and I’m glad I decided to come here first.

Naturally in the two softest $1k & $5k tournaments I’ve ever played I couldn’t get anything going. Busted the $1k midway through day 1 and busted the $5k during level 4. Played good in the $5k, just lost literally every single hand lol. Oh well. 

Shaun and I are in the know and somehow nabbed a room at the Commerce despite it being booked through back in October. We’re headin there next.
